I did not find the index of terms until I finsihed the book because of course it was placed in the back. There was a sweetness to his treatment of the younger man from the beginning.

Davvero io ho un sacco di problemi coi blurb e le avvertenze. Love may be blind, but it sure as sacrec isn’t stupid. I must say that this book is intense. Rohyr EssendriLassen Idana. I finally submitted Duty or Desire yesterday. I wanted to hate it from the start, but found I couldn’t dammit.
I enjoyed both Rohry and Lasssen and their struggle to over come the prejudices of the true blood and half blood. As a general rule we do not censor any content on the site. Don’t expect much more. All of that, plus knowing Rohyr lived his life as the office of Arden to the point, that without Lassen, he would have forgotten how to be simply a man, made him redeemable sacreed my eyes. It was truly a wonderful experience to read this book and I hope there will be a worthy sequel in store.
So when Rohyr had to help out Lassen, it made the victory seem hollow. There is a glossary at the back but it isn’t necessarily required, a lot depends on your level of imagination, memory or how invested you wish to get in the world building and the nuances of the book.

I love epic fantasy. Rohyr Essendri dared to cross it when he took young Lassen Idana from his provincial town and made him his paramour. How do you like your king best? I’ve been juggling all my obligations and not always managing to not drop anything. It was weird, and, this book confused the hell out of me.
