It could have been an interesting book for student pilots and aviation enthusiasts had it not been encumbered by an equally unispiring style. An example that should terrify those undertaking the pains of writing a textbook on the matters of the heart with the head. Indeed, the desire to fly is directly antithetical to the procedural handbooks and mathematics we need to internalize in order to get started.
The exitement of stick and rudder flying comes well after countless hours of groundschooling augmented by written exams.
